Lorenzo Carrazana graduated from Grove City College in 2019 with degrees in Political Science and Economics and a minor in National Security Studies. On campus, he was the co-chair of the American Enterprise Institute Student Executive Council, a Student Research Fellow at the Institute for Faith and Freedom, a teaching assistant in the Economics department, and secretary of the Delta Rho Sigma housing group. He also received the J.P. Hassler Prize in Economics his senior year. His chief academic interests are in the intersection between political theory, economics, and law. Lorenzo has interned at Waterstone Mortgage Corporation and worked as a legal analyst at the Arizona Attorney General’s Office. He anticipates his time at John Jay  will grow his heart for justice, enhance his understanding of living in a Christian community, and further his spiritual development.

Lorenzo plans to attend law school and pursue a legal career that focuses on promoting a free and just society. In his free time, Lorenzo enjoys reading, playing guitar, watching movies, playing sports, and spending quality time with friends and family in his hometown of Charlottesville, Virginia.
