John Ahern (PhD, Princeton University) is Director of Coverdale House, a Christian study center in Princeton, NJ. His doctoral work was in the history of Medieval liturgical music, particularly the polyphony of the Mass ordinary in the fifteenth century. He directs the Theopolis Institute Te Deum Fellows Program, and his writing on a variety of topics has appeared in First Things, Mere Orthodoxy, Eidolon, The Lamp, and Ad Fontes. He lives with his wife and four children in New Jersey.
