Kevin Stucker

Spring 2024 John Jay Fellow

Hometown: Franklin, IN
College: Hillsdale College
Degree: B.A. Economics

Kevin Stucker graduated summa cum laude from Hillsdale College in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. While at Hillsdale, he played on the varsity football team, performed for the Hillsdale Percussion Ensemble, and was a member of the Collegiate Scholars Program. He also was an active member of both Praxis (a political economy student club) and Hillsdale’s Federalist Society chapter. In addition, he served as president of the Classical Liberal Organization, a libertarian student club hosting open debates and discussions.

Kevin has interned for Liberty Fund and worked as a Research Assistant for Dr. Ivan Pongracic, one of Hillsdale’s economics professors. Shortly after graduating, he attended PERC’s 2022 Conservation Economics Student Summit.

Kevin returned to Hillsdale College to work in the Career Services department, serving as a pre-law advisor and the Kehoe Entrepreneurship Program’s program manager. This past fall, he participated in the Mercatus Center’s Don Lavoie Fellowship.

Kevin hopes that his time at John Jay will further his appreciation of good community—a feeling that was certainly cultivated during his time in the small town of Hillsdale, MI—and also aid in his lifelong mission to be a good Christian man.
