College: University of Dallas
Major: History
Warren Rudman was born and raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas. He distinguished himself academically at Covenant Christian Academy in Colleyville, Texas, a Classical Christian school, graduating Summa Cum Laude. After high school, Warren embraced the dual challenge of athletics and academics by accepting a baseball scholarship to Shelton State Junior College in Tuscaloosa Alabama. There, he exemplified excellence on and off the field—earning his Associate’s Degree with Honors, induction into Phi Theta Kappa honors society, selection to the NJCAA All-Academic second team for baseball, and was a part of Shelton’s conference championship team in 2023. He also had the opportunity to start and maintain a weekly Bible study for his teammates.
Committed to furthering both his education and baseball career, Warren transferred to the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas. Immersed in the University’s rigorous classical curriculum, he continued his studies of Latin, history, politics, and western literature. In the summer of 2024, Warren studied abroad at the University of Dallas’ Due Santi campus in Rome. He spent six weeks studying in a number of different places including, Venice, Milan, and Athens. In December 2025, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History after completing his senior thesis which examined the career of the sixth century Byzantine general Belisarius. His academic excellence earned him continued placement on the Dean’s List and induction into the National Society of Leadership and Success in Fall 2025.
Warren enjoys watching old movies, reading even older books, and writing creatively in his spare time. He also loves fishing enjoying nature, and scoring baseball games. During his time with the John Jay Fellowship this Spring, Warren looks forward to building friendships with fellow believers while continuing to study the western tradition. After this Spring, Warren hopes to seek a graduate degree in diplomatic service or pursue a position in an adjacent field.
