Support Zach

Born and raised on a small ranch in the Texas Hill Country, Zachary Lyman has always held a deep appreciation for hard work and self-reliance. He is driven by his faith, curiosity, and passion for helping others.

Zach's early career has centered around creating media for non-profit and issue based fundraising. He believes that funding and volunteering for the causes that align with ones own conviction is a key part of self governance, which is essential to keep government small and maintain personal freedom.

His creative storytelling has served as a tool for think tanks, congressmen, churches, and children's ministries.

Before becoming a John Jay Fellow, Zachary graduated from Schreiner University summa cum laude, studied as a Sumners Scholar, and holds the honor of being a member of The Steamboat Institute's Emerging Leaders Council. He hopes that his time at the John Jay Institute will better equip him as a leader to expand the freedom of others and more closely reflect Jesus Christ.
